Fernando (“DJ”) Lopez is a Manager in the Licensing Department with Perr&Knight. In his role, DJ helps oversee the day-to-day activities of the Licensing Department, while maintaining his own portfolio of clients comprised of agents/agencies, managing general agents, risk purchasing groups, and insurance company licensing and appointments. His experience at Perr&Knight has allowed him to work with a diverse range of clients, from small start-up agencies to mutli-billion dollar companies. DJ also plays a vital role in the research and implementation of new licensing services, including his participation in helping to develop the new LicensingRepoter.com – a web based licensing and project management website originally created by Perr&Knight.

Prior to joining Perr&Knight’s Santa Monica, California office in 2013, DJ worked at a national underwriting facility specializing in sports, leisure, and entertainments insurance where he worked with an extensive insurance producer network to process policies and assist with underwriting for various coverages such as liability, accident, auto, and inland marine.

DJ graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Administrative Studies.
