Philip Wertz, ACAS, MAAA

• Senior Actuarial Consultant

Philip Wertz is a Senior Actuarial Consultant with Perr&Knight. Phil works on the Predictive Analytics team to provide modeling and other data analytics products and services to solve insurance business problems. He also provides actuarial services for a variety of consulting projects including developing rate level indications, reserve analyses, competitor research, filing support, and new product development.

Prior to joining Perr&Knight, Phil worked for Pekin Insurance for 3 years. His responsibilities included developing predictive models, providing data support to pricing and reserving functions, coordinating with IT and business units on model implementation, and various other ad hoc analyses.

Phil graduated from Grace College in Winona Lake, IN with a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science and Mathematics. Phil is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
