Neresa Torres is the State Filings Workflow Supervisor for Perr&Knight. She began her career with Perr&Knight in January 2005 as an Administrative Assistant, working her way up to Workflow Supervisor in the Regulatory Compliance Practice Area. Over her time at Perr&Knight, Neresa has been instrumental in submitting complex filings, covering both Property & Casualty (P&C) and Accident & Health (A&H) products, ensuring compliance with state regulatory requirements.
As a Workflow Supervisor, Neresa oversees the end-to-end workflow for the State Filings team, facilitating tasks such as balancing project workload and managing the pipeline of new filings, resubmissions, and amendments. Additionally, Neresa assists and collaborates with developers to implement customer focused enhancements to StateFilings.com.
Neresa facilitates the training of new State Filings Analysts and provides performance feedback on productivity and efficiency. She helps team members prioritize their workload and identifies training opportunities. Her understanding of the state filing processes, across both P&C and A&H lines, combined with her approach to workflow management and team development, makes her a great resource to both her team and the Perr&Knight organization.
Neresa graduated from the University College of Belize with an Associate in Business Administration. She has obtained multiple industry-related designations, including her Associate in Insurance and Associate in Personal Insurance in 2022, and her FLMI Level I Certification and her Associate, Life Management Institute Certification in 2024. Neresa works remotely from her home in California.
