Michael Goldman is a Principal & Consulting Actuary with Perr&Knight. Michael leads a team of actuaries that provides ratemaking and reserving analyses across all states and many lines of business with a focus on personal automobile and homeowners. Michael is the Appointed Actuary for several insurance companies. His experience includes pricing, filing, product development, regulatory rate compliance, profitability analyses and reporting, and reserve studies spanning personal and commercial lines.

Michael has provided property & casualty actuarial services since 2003. Prior to joining Perr&Knight’s Boca Raton, Florida office in 2015, Michael led a pricing team supporting personal automobile and homeowners at Liberty Mutual in Seattle, Washington. His other experience includes managing a pricing team supporting numerous niche insurance products at Assurant Specialty Property in Miami, Florida and providing actuarial analyst support at Key Risk Insurance Company, a workers’ compensation insurer in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Michael holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida, where he majored in Finance and minored in Actuarial Science. Michael became a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society in 2013 and is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
