Julie Russell, ACAS, MAAA

Julie Russell is a Consulting Actuary with Perr&Knight. She has experience in personal and commercial lines, and provides various consulting services including reserve and funding studies, product development, ratemaking analyses and filing support. She works with insurance companies, general agencies, captive insurers and self-insured entities.

Prior to joining Perr&Knight’s Santa Monica, California office, Julie worked as a Regional Actuary for Fireman’s Fund in Irvine, California, and served in the Corporate Planning Department and the Commercial and Personal Pricing Units at Royal & SunAlliance in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has worked in the property & casualty insurance industry since 1992.

Julie graduated cum laude, from Davidson College in North Carolina, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Literature, in 1992. She graduated with honors and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Julie is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
