Barbara Lilly, CPCU, PMP

Barbara Lilly is a Senior Product Design Consultant with Perr&Knight.  Her responsibilities include product development, forms drafting, competitor analysis, reviewing forms for regulatory compliance, and regulatory compliance research.

Barbara joined the Insurance Technology Consulting Department of Perr&Knight in 2022 as a Consultant and later as a Project Manager. She brought with her 20 years of Property and Casualty experience. Previously, she was the Vice President of Underwriting at Nodak Insurance. There she was responsible for establishing key performance targets, developing and implementing underwriting philosophy, strategy, and products to optimize the growth and profitability of a multi-state book of business consisting of personal, commercial, farm, and agribusiness.  Barbara started her career as a claims adjuster for State Auto Insurance with future roles as underwriter, personal and commercial product specialist, and underwriting manager.  She was also underwriting manager for MAPFRE Insurance.  Her roles have also required her to work closely with regulatory and reporting agencies to ensure compliance.

Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Franklin University.  She has also earned several industry designations including CPCU, AIC, AIS, API, AIM, INS, AU, ARe, AIAF, ARC, and AIDA.  She also holds the Project Management Professional credential.
