Alexander Brill, ASA, MAAA

Alexander (“Alex”) Brill is a Consulting Actuary with Perr&Knight, providing actuarial services for the firm’s Accident & Health clients. Among the services he provides for clients are product development, rate development, rate filings and revisions, pricing, and reserve analysis. Alex also has extensive experience working with Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and on shared savings/shared risk agreements.

Prior to joining Perr&Knight in 2022, Alex worked as a senior actuarial analyst at EmblemHealth, a large New York based health insurance company, where he led actuarial work on a variety of different health insurance products including Medicaid, Medicare, Individual commercial, Small Group commercial, dental, and large group commercial. He also has extensive experience working on data analytics.

Alex graduated from SUNY-Binghamton University with a degree in Mathematics with an Actuarial Science track. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He is continuing professional development efforts through actuarial and insurance-related avenues.
